Who We Are

American Leasing Company was founded in 1990 by Tom Davis under the idea that commercial equipment financing should be more accessible to the average business owner. In 1993, the corporation was formed and began syndicating transactions outside of the region. By 1998, when Herman Fleishman came onboard, we were already making plans to pool our resources and begin funding transactions in-house. In 1999 we added one more partner, Kevin Preston, who was just finishing law school. Combined, we had enough capital to start our own funding arm and American Leasefund, Inc. was born.

We have been able to grow immensely over the last twenty years. In the last decade, we’ve seen our competition dwindle and have emerged as one of the premier providers of commercial equipment financing solutions in the Northwest United States. Combined our ownership group has over sixty years of experience. As a group, we have invested millions back into the companies we serve in almost every State in the union.
